The idea to expand Ambersley beyond beauty products was born from an unexpected encounter in London with H.E. Drikung Khenchen Konchok Rangdol Rinpoche*.

Through conversations about the timeless traditions of the Himalayas, we discovered a simple yet profound philosophy: that beauty and wellbeing are inseparable, and that the way we care for ourselves should also nurture our inner world.

Rinpoche's teachings remind us that lasting happiness cannot be found in the constant pursuit of more, but in cultivating compassion, gratitude, and a quiet mind. Rooted in the wisdom of the Drikung Kagyu tradition, he encourages a way of living that is in harmony with nature, with others, and with ourselves.

By working with local growers and communities, we hope not only to share the healing gifts of the Himalayas, but also to honour and help preserve the people and traditions that continue to protect this unique heritage.
